In several forms and function settings (such as filtering search for some taxonomic group) there are form fields where ID of record in BioLib has to be entered (for example ID of taxon, glossary term and so on).

By pressing "Select" button you can select the record from new window and by clicking on radiobutton next to displayed items you can insert it into the field. You have to have JavaScript enabled in order for this function to work.

These fields also allow direct input of a number without need of selecting the record using "Select" button. ID can be extracted either from record URL (like "http://...taxon/id#" where # is the ID) or it is written in the SHOW INFO block (try clicking on SHOW INFO link in upper part of this page).

If you enter text into field and then press the "Select" button, window is automatically redirected to search results instead of browsing mode.
