I've been studying Felines for ten years, with particularly meticulous zeal the Ocelot (Leopardus pardalis), the Jaguar (Panthera onca), the Asiatic Golden Cat (Catopuma temminckii) and the Malayan Tiger (Panthera tigris jacksoni). Also, I'm an activist for WWF Malaysia and MYCAT who aims to save the Malayan Tiger (Panthera tigris jacksoni) from extinction.
I noticed this Tiger (Panthera tigris) photo is labelled as Indochinese Tiger (Panthera tigris corbetti) while it is actually a Malayan Tiger (Panthera tigris jacksoni) considering all the (formerly considered) Indochinese Tigers (Panthera tigris corbetti) present in European zoos come from Zoo Halle's breeding programmes and consequently from Peninsular Malaysia, for this reason they are all now reclassified as Malayan Tigers (Panthera tigris jacksoni).
