Distribution: Texas; Jamaica. Size: 4 mm
Description: Color uniform tannish-white; shape turriculate, tall, flat sided; sculpture of 3 spiral beaded cords connected by concave axial and spiral riblets, giving a quadrate appearance in inner spaces; suture fine and deep; nuclear whorls smooth; aperture subcircular to ovate; short siphon.
Habitat: On shelly or sand bottoms. Found alive at a depth of about 45 m (150 ft). Depth range 7 to 115 m (23 to 377 ft).
Remarks: Usually found in deeper water but occasionally on Stetson Bank. See Lyons (1989); Ode (1989c).
