Shell cream, elongately acuminated, turreted. Whorls sixteen to twenty, narrow, flatly concave, the centres of which are concentrically grooved; sutures deep. Aperture rounded, lip thin; base pinkish; operculum horny. Size: 2 inches.

This species is more frequently seen on eastern Victorian shores, and is also recorded from New South Wales and Tasmania.
