Biconical, whorls axially ribbed, angulate the shoulders, base contracted; siphonal canal short, slightly upturned and recurved; axial ribs vanishing on the base, crossed by close, low, flat-topped spiral cords bearing transverse lamellae which spread laterally into the interspaces, the 3-4 cords immediately behind the high fasciole larger than the others; aperture trigonal, outer lip edge finely dentate; columella thin, adherent except anteriorly where it spreads over the small umbilicus. Pale pink or yellow.
