Shell thin, dingy white; only the last whorl of the nucleus remaining, apparently smooth; post nuclear whorls six, angulated, sculptured with axially elongated nodes on the upper whorls which on the last whorl are produced into ten narrow, radial, guttered spines; spiral sculpture consists of two faint cords immediately below the shoulder and a third, slightly more prominent, about halfway between the upper cords and the end of the canal; aperture ovate; canal narrow, open, distinctly recurved; outer [apertural] lip thin; Columellar lip appressed to base, the enamel terminating some distance from the end of the canal, leaving an umbilical chink.
