Description

The shell in this genus is small (9-15 mm long) and fusiform. The spire is high and acute. The aperture is moderately large and ovate, with a weakly thickened outer apertural lip that is lirate to weakly denticulate within. The columellar lip is entirely adherent and smooth. Sculpture consists of two to four strong cords on the body, these knobby over the indistinct varices.
