Description

Shell thick, elongate ovate or elongate square, 45.5 mm in height, 69.0 mm in length, 37.2 mm in breadth; anterior side rounded, posterior rather obliquely truncated; area of ligament moderately wide with rhomboidal grooves; surface covered with a brown velvety epidermis, and sculptured with about 42 flat, very close-set radial ribs, near anterior and posterior ribs divided by a shallow groove, with weak granuloses.
Distribution: Guangdong, Hainan and Guangxi Provinces of China; Vietnam; Philippines.
Ecology: Found in subtidal zone.
