Description

Shell solid, elongate ovate, 20.5 mm in height, 31.7 mm in length and 17,3 mm in breadth; dorsal margin long and straight, sides angulated at the upper part, umbo situated near anterior end; ligamental area long, rhomboidal; surface covered with a brown hairy epidermis, and sculptured with about 29 radial ribs, those of left valve and anterior of right valve granulated. Distribution: East and South China Seas; Taiwan Province of China; Thailand; Malaysia; Indonesia; Philippines; Japan.
Ecology: Found in muddy sand bottom of 30 - 118 m depth.
