Shell small in sizes, brittle, oval in aperture. Apex, strongly rolled-up, is placed in correspondence with posterior margin. Posterior side concave, crack quite evident, long, with raised margins. Fissural streak crossed by close transverse lamellae. Sculpture made by numerous radial ribs, with equal thickness, having some close transverse little ribs quite evident in the interspaces giving a typical reticulated aspect to surface. As far as fresh specimens are concerned, shell is either semi-transparent or dirty white in colour. A neotype of this species was set up and recognized by Piani (1984). Average measures of adult specimens are around 3.5x2.7x2 mm.
