Base at contour almost circular and position of apex placed almost centrally are characteristics of this species. Conic in outline but not much elevated, posterior side not much convex. Sculpture made by longitudinal ribs (about 50) very wide and roundish, the outline of which is quite visible on margin of aperture. These ribs are very close among them and separated by thin furrows, moreover they result a little bit granulated to be crossed by transverse lines. Crack narrow and not much evident. Usually either yellowish or dirty white in colour.
As far as this species is concerned, no synonyms and varieties are known in literature and it was always rightly interpreted by several authors. Average measures of adult specimens are around 8x6x4 mm.
