All of them were found at Formiche di Grosseto Is. (Grosseto - Tuscany - Italy), at 50 m depth. Species capuliform, raised. Main characteristics are aperture oval-rounded in form, apex protruding over posterior margin and crack with raised margins. Height about 1/3 lower than larger diametre. Sculpture is made by about 30 axial ribs of equal thickness crossed by concentric little cords equally spaced. This species can be confused with E. rosea which has however sizes larger, sculpture much more accentuated so to get a reticulated aspect, apex more bending and more protuberant from posterior margin. It is also distinguishable from E. pustula since this one is more depressed in aspect, it has an apex not reaching margin and sculpture with typical axial ribs of punctulum missing. Uniform dirty white in colour. Juvenile specimens are easily recognizable due to their elevated form and to uniformity of axial ribs. Average measures of adult specimens are around 3x2x2 mm.
