The shape of the shell is a nearly flat oval; with a low central apex. The -surface is marked by about 23 strong radiating ribs. The colour inside is brown with a bluish-white centre, and the ribs, which show through, are whitish. Outside it is of a greyish-brown colour. The size is 20X14X3-5 mm. Characteristics. The ribs are quite different from the others, especially inside. Tomlin agreed with me that it was a new species. I found 3 specimens.
