Distribution

In the Philippines known from Bohol: Balicasag and Cabilao Islands; Cebu, Liloan and Mactan Island. In the literature reported from Burias Island. Outside the Philippines reported from Indonesia. 6.5 to 12.4 mm in length.
In WoRMS this species is recorded as an Emarginula, but the shell shape refers this well sized Fissurellid to the genus Emarginella.
