Compared with Cytharomorula lefevreiana (Tapparorte Canefri, 1880), C danigoi has fewer and shorter denticles within the aperture, the shell is broader with less angular teleoconch whorls, a broader, more globose protoconch, and the tip of the siphonal canal is always dark brown instead of the same colour as the rest of the shell.
