Description

Type species: Trochus chlorostomus Menke 1843. South Western Australia.
Shell conical, elevated; periphery acutely carinated; whorls flattened; columella concave weakly denticulate, sharply truncate below forming a point, rest of the aperture lip wrinkled within over the whole inner edge; imperforate in the adult.
Distribution: Southern Australia.
