Patelloida profunda: 20mm. Thick, elevated, oval or almost circular in outline with nearly central apex; base often concave. Fine radial riblets, usually eroded. White or creamy with irregular reddish brown rays; inside white with orange central area; juveniles rayed internally. Habitat: on rocks and other objects, often above high-tide level.
Distribution: Gulf of Oman, South Oman, Masirah Island.
