Popis
A diverse and specious group, wide ranging throughout the Indo-Pacific, with members commonly found in shallow water samples. Etrema Hedley, 1918 is characterized by its tall profile, carination on final protoconch whorls, short aperture ratio and coloration typically tan or brown usually with lighter colored bands and darker stains, primarily encompassing the aperture.
