The shell is small, fusiform, glossy, the nuclear whorls and anterior end white, elsewhere flesh pink with three narrow and very faint bands, the peripheral represented by light brown spots on the ribs. Nucleus trochoid, of 3,5 smooth and convex whorls, the following whorls nearly flat, with sculpture of narrow axial ribs, about 10 on the penult whorl, separated by wide concave intervals. On the last whorl the ribs do not quite reach the suture, and disappear below the periphery, where there are about ten extremely fine incised spiral lines. There is a prominent dorsal hump at the last third of the body whorl, no ribs beyond it. The aperture and anterior canal are about equal in width. Outer lip thin. Anal sinus deep and rounded, a heavy callous pad on the body near the posterior angle of the aperture. Columella with a rather heavy, thin-edged, spreading callus. No differentiated siphonal fasciole.
Length 5.8 mm., diam. 2.2 mm.; 7,5 whorls.
