We consider this species to be a Dentiscala because of the very weak ribs. This is a recently described species that has been found in the eastern Atlantic. It reaches a maximum size of at least 3mm and was taken at a depth of 700m. It is a small solid species with 4 teleoconch and 3 protoconch whorls. The surface of the shell is very smooth with low costae and an occasional varix. The aperture is oval and the outer lip is thick. There is no basal ridge on this species.
