ASTEROLAMIA Waren, 1980b Type species. A. hians Waren, 1980b, by original designation. NE Australia, on a starfish. Type material. AMS C 114593.
Remarks. There are two species of this genus, both parasitic on starfishes of the group Paxillosida (Waren, 1980b). They may be recognized by the short, broad, conical shell.
