AMAMIBALC1S Kuroda & Habe, 1950
Type species. A. kawamurai Kuroda & Habe, 1950, by original designation. Japan. Type material. NSMT 39853, Remarks. I have seen a few species of this genus from different parts of the Indo-Pacific. It may be recognized by the indistinctly, but rather coarsely striated shell, of a rather short and broad shape and with flat whorls. Usually there are some brownish spots on the shell. No hosts are known.
