85mm. Thick, heavy, ovate, short spired, with strongly shouldered whorls and deep sutures; tapering siphonal canal; aperture much taller than spire. Coarse, nodulous spiral cords on later whorls, nodules axially aligned, spiral ribs between cords; 2 varices. A few deep-seated teeth inside wavy-edged outer lip; columella with few deep-seated folds. Shades of brown; aperture white, often tinted pink. Habitat: muddy rocks and crevices. Distribution: Gulf of Oman. Yemen. Masirah Island.
