Sturdy, glossy, sinistral, elongate-ovate, aperture about half width of shell at its widest, sutures impressed, siphonal canal sharply recurved backwards and almost forming a tube; protoconch: initial half whorl has hemispherical granules, next 4 whorls axially ridged. Spire whorls encircled by 2 rows of beads with fine spiral striae between rows. Amber with lowermost rows of beads dull white reddish brown in their intervals. Habitat: intertidal and offshore on sponges. Distribution: Gulf of Oman, Masirah Island.
