DISTRIBUTION: Kellia simulans has been collected from the Ross Sea from numerous stations in 47-741 m, although never common at any one station. Elsewhere in the antarctic, it has been recorded only from the Antarctic Peninsula in 70 m (Lamy) and from off the South Shetlands in 210-238 m (Eltanin Stn 1003).
