Anadara natalensis (Krauss, 1848)
16-63 mm. Squarish light shell. -» Ribs smooth, well separated. Interspaces almost as wide as the ribs. (63 mm) Distribution: Rare, Gulf of Suez.
Notes: A similar-looking subfossil shell is very common in the Ras Sudr area. It is heavier, beige, and always very worn.
