Shell elongated in form, solid, made by abt. 5 whorls, a few convex, crossed by spiral ridges and axial ribs giving a reticulated sculpture to the whole surface. Broad suture. The last whorl is as high as almost the half of the shell with an aperture oval in form and an arched columella which has a well defined fold. Lip simple. Heterostroph protoconch. The colour pattern is uniform milk white. The average measures reach 9-10 mm.

Rozšíření
Common all over the Mediterranean. It seems it prefers stiff substrata of the infralittoral.
