Nucula decipiens: This little known species should be assigned to Ennucula because of its smooth margin, but resembles N. nitidosa more than any of the two other species of Ennucula. It shares with the former the truncated anterior margin, the very oblique ligament pit and the radial microsculpture on the early part of the teleoconch. It is provisionally retained under its original binomen until its relationships are clarified.
