Only known from one specimen, however this specimen is in very good condition and very distinctive from any other Western Australian Cancilla. The holotype can be compared most closely to Cancilla turneri POPPE, TAGARO & SALISBURY, 2009 (; Camilla Isabella (SWAINSON, 1831) and Cancilla hermanni DEKKERS, 2014 . In comparison to these deep water species however it is more inflated and smaller. It is a—monochrome light fawn in colour, with uniform latticed spiral ribs that are not as pronounced in the comparable species. It can be compared to C turneri yet is half its size and the anterior canal is relatively straight.
