Shell small, thin, white, with a Sinusigera nucleus of two and a half brown whorls and three and a half subsequent well rounded whorls; suture closely appressed, somewhat constricted; anal sulcus deep and wide, the fasciole close to the suture, crossed by retractively arcuate wrinkles; axial sculpture of about 16 very narrow sharp ribs, with much wider interspaces, completely crossing the whorls except the anal fasciole; spiral sculpture of (on the last whorl 6) slender threads with much wider interspaces, so that the interstices of the reticulation are nearly square; the canal is finely spirally threaded; pillar short, straight, attenuate in front, gyrate, with pervious axis; aperture narrow, outer lip thin, arcuately produced in front. This species has nucleus markedly spirally unicarinate, while in most of the species with the Sinusigera nucleus the whorls are rounded.
