6mm. Delicate, elongate-oval in outline with straight, compressed sides, rounded posteriorly, anterior edge straight; orifice large, wide anteriorly. V-shaped posteriorly. Coarse radial ribs crossed by concentric threads; glossy inside. White with 2 broad rays anteriorly, mottled and spotted posteriorly. Syn: probably the species listed by Glayzer et al, 1984:318, (as M. elegans Preston, 1908), from Kuwait. Habitat: beached. Distribution: Masirah (gulf of Oman), Persian Gulf.
