Cachia & Mifsud, 2001:
Shell roughly oval, a little less wide at the top than the lower section. White matt, but glossy internally. No sculpture, save for growth lines or folds. No sinus between the spire and the top of the outer lip, which curves a little higher than the spire. Size: 15mm. The animal is colourless and totally covered with yellow or white spots. The parapodia are large and the shell is easily seen through the transparent animal, because of the darker pigment underneath.

It is well known on E. Atlantic coasts and in the Mediterranean.
