Shell minute, turbinate, very similar to decipiens Powell 1940, but differing primarily in the possession of a narrow concave shoulder marked off by a distinct spiral cord. Both cord and shoulder become obsolete towards the end of the body whorl. The only other sculpture consists of very indistinct, subobsolete, irregular spirals across the whorls, a low, wide spiral ridge which borders the umbilicus, and radial threads which extend over the lower half of the base and terminate against this ridge. The umbilicus is somewhat narrower than in decipiens. Height, 2,2 mm.; diameter, 2,0 mm.
The relationships of this form are difficult to determine. It has all the appearance of being a regional subspecies of decipiens Powell, which however, occurs in the same general area. The characters by which it differs from decipiens are marked and constant, and it must therefore be considered specifically distinct.
