Shell small, short, stout, translucent white, with a very short spire of about three and a half whorls, smoothly overglazed; axial sculpture of obsolescent incremental lines, surface polished; there is no spiral sculpture; aperture nearly as long as the shell, narrow, the outer lip nearly straight, thickened but not varicose nor crenulate; body and pillar not enamelled, bearing four subequal plaits, the anterior rounding evenly about a rather deep sinus to the outer lip; axis impervious.
