Shell small, length 3.3 mm, width 2.4 mm (ZMA Moll. no. 3.87.029), nonumbilicate. Protoconch depressed, less than 1 whorl and clearly demarcated from teleoconch; with very fine, irregularly anastomosing sculpture and 2 very fine spiral threads; diameter 0.22 mm. Teleoconch with 4 stepped whorls. First postnuclear whorl nearly smooth, gradually axial ribs are developed and still later the spiral cords. On penultimate whorl 2 spiral cords and a small one just above the suture. Bodywhorl with 7-8 weak spiral cords and a microsculpture all over consisting of crisp, densely crowded minute granules. Aperture ovate with 7 lirations and 3 denticles inside. The last two denticles on the columella base are strongly developed. Colour brilliant white; aperture nacreous white inside.

E. bermudensis n.sp. differs from E. guttarosea in being uniform white, having less pronounced spiral and axial sculpture and in liration/dentation of the aperture. The weaker sculpture and other dentation separate the new species from E. hummelincki n.sp.
