G rubrolineatus differs by its broader spire, the more ventricose whorls, the round-ovate aperture, and the narrower siphonal canal. G. benjamini differs by its smaller size, the more ventricose whorls, the shorter spire, the less constricted suture, the round-ovate aperture, and the short, narrow, slightly twisted siphonal canal. G. rufinodis can be distinguished by its shorter and broader spire, the less constricted suture, the less numerous but stronger axial ribs on body whorl, the shorter body whorl with broader aperture, and the narrower and slightly longer siphonal canal. G consimilis differs by its long and narrow siphonal canal, the more convex, slightly carinated whorls, the small, round-ovate aperture, and the stronger, more pronounced, widely spaced axial ribs.
