Shell exceptionally small For genus (9.5-11.5 mm in length), fusiform, thick, solid, with rather short broad spire, consisting of 4,5 - 6 convex teleoconch whorls. Shape broad, rather biconical with concave base. Body whorl ventricose, outer lip strongly convex, siphonal canal conspicuously short. Suture distinct. Fine axial growth lines well-visible on all teleoconch whorls.
Colour pale brown, with orange-brown spiral lines on top of spiral cords.
Protoconch light brown, 1,25 bulbous, glossy whorls, first whorl smooth, final ¼ whorl sculptured with 2-4 low but broad, sometimes curved axial riblets. separated by broad interspaces. Transition to teleoconch abrupt. Dia-meter 0.7-0.9 mm.
Teleoconch beginning with 3 strong equally spaced spiral cords, pronounced on axial ribs. Interspaces deep, broad, ornamented with numerous fine axial lamellae (growth lines). 3 primary cords on second and third teleoconch whorl. 4 on penultimate whorl. Starting with second postnuclcar whorl, one strong secondary intercalated spiral thread between primary cords. 17-20 primary spiral cords on body whorl of which 7 or 8 on siphonal canal, occasionally a fine intercalated spiral thread in middle of interspaces.
Axial sculpture consisting of 12-17 broad, low, close-set axial ribs, reaching from suture to suture on all whorls. 2 prelabral ribs clearly stronger and broader, fusing together, forming a thick outer lip.
Aperture ovate, adapically pointed, rather large, white. Outer lip strongly convex, conspicuously thick, ornamented with 5-8 strong internal lirae, forming a row of broad, strong, irregularly sized teeth behind edge of outer lip, middle one strongest. Columellar callus white, usually 1 or 2 strong broad teeth on upper end. 2, occasionally 1, strong columellar fold(s), acquired in adult stage, well-visible inside aperture.
Siphonal canal clearly shorter than aperture length, broad, nearly straight. Outer side sculptured with regularly spaced spiral cords. Aperture with siphonal canal slightly larger than 1/2 of total shell length.
Operculum and radula unknown.

G. amoenus looks similar to Clivipollia IREDALE 1929 (type species by original designation: Clivipollia imperita IREDALE 1929, a junior synonym of Ricinula pulchra REEVE 1846, Indo-West Pacific, Buccinidae) by the strong columellar denticles which are located on the spiral sculpture of the preceding whorl, and by strong denticles on the inner side of the outer lip, but differs by its smaller shell with concave base, the peculiar orange spiral line present on top of the spiral cords, the intercalated spiral threads, and the broader aperture. For differences with G. geometricus we refer to the remarks under that species.
