Termín
Together with Myeonsan formation lowermost units of the Taebaek Group in the Taebaeksan Basin. The two formations are correlatable to each other and were deposited in different environments. They rest unconformably on the Paleoproterozoic Yulli Group or granitic gneiss (Choi D. K. 2019).
