Description

Shape rhomboid with angular corners, siphonal canal short and open, periphery of whorls angular, protoconch dome shaped. Sculpture of sharp axial ribs crossed by spiral grooves, outer lip with spiral ridges inside, two spiral rows of coronations per whorl, columella with weak basal plications. Colour cream to yellowish-brown with dark brown banding. Shell small, up to 20mm in length. Single representative occurs in Australian waters.
