Description

As Mangelia barbarensis:
Shell small, turreted, elongate-fusiform; apex acute; whorls six, broad and angular, angle being slightly posterior to middle; sculpture consists of ten prominent, rather sharp, transverse ridges which reach maximum prominence on angle of whorls; suture deeply impressed, distinct, aperture oblique, narrow, elliptical, drawn out anteriorly into a short, narrow canal; outer lip thin; simple, arcuate; inner lip smooth.
