Distribution: North Carolina to Florida, Texas. Size: 6 to 11 mm
Description: Color creamish with bands of reddish-brown; shape turreted; sculpture of axial cords crossed by fine, spiral, incised lines; first nuclear whorls smooth; last nuclear whorl with numerous axial riblets; aperture U-shaped; siphonal canal abrupt; turrid notch short.
Habitat: Sandy bottoms at depths from 11 to 146 m (36 to 480 ft). In Texas found at a
depth of about 45 m (150 ft).
