Description

Shell moderately large, up to 60 mm. (2,375 inches) in length, broadly ovate, mod¬erately elevated, with the apex almost at the anterior third. Sculpture consisting of numerous strong, keeled radials that prominently corrugate the margin. Colour, externally dull-black, internally silvery bluish grey, the spatula often clouded with a white callus. Length 53-60 mm; Width 46-50 mm; Height 19-20 mm
