Description

Quadrangular to elongated oval, posterior truncate and slightly gaping, left valve slightly smaller than right valve, thin-walled, surface granular with commarginal ridges, translucent white with thin, yellowish periostracum, pallial sinus deep, margin smooth. North Carolina, Florida Keys, Gulf of Mexico. Length 11 mm. Syn. balesi Rehder, 1943.
