Description

This recently described species has been found in the Bay of Biscay at a depth of 2000m. It reaches a maximum size of at least 16mm. It is white with about 9 teleoconch whorls. The whorls are rather flat sided. A basal disk is present. The 20 costae are broad and low and do not from varices. The surface of the shell is pitted and the outer lip is thickened.
