Shell small, solid or porcellaneous with a slightly elevated, helicoid spire of about four whorls, the upper surface engraved with strong spiral groovings, the lower surface smooth, convex with a deep, wide umbilicus showing the inner volutions. Bocas Island.
Specimens from Bocas Island have smaller and more numerous spiral grooves than shells from Colon, but in the absence of good series from either locality, the value of these differences is undeterminable.
