Description

This is larger than N. japonicus, and consists of more inflated whorls. The surface sculpture is coarser. The longitudinal ridges number about 15 on each whorl. The structure of aperture is similar to that of the last species, but the exterior surface is not glossy at all. Distribution: south of Honshu, in subtidal zone.
