Like Anacithara naufraga, but shorter and broader. Pale brown with a chocolate peripheral band.

In general character Eucithara striatella Smith, resembles this, but the A. conata is smaller, comparatively narrower, and closer ribbed. Pseudoraphitoma agna Melvill & Standen, is more slender and has fewer ribs.
