Clathurella rava (Hinds, 1843) is characterized by its relatively large size, tall spire, subtle carination on second protoconch whorl; aperture, sinus and anterior canal open, wide, yellowish tan in color, dark brown band at suture, base, and anterior end.

Distribution

Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur (Keen, 1937), throughout the Golfo de California south to San Vicente, Manabi Province, Ecuador (Skoglund, 2004), intertidal to 37 m.
