Description

The shell of this species differs from that of Crassispira turricula Sowerby in that the whorls are more rounded, the last whorl is shorter in proportion to the height and the axial ribbing is finer. The color is dark brown. Dimensions of holotype: length, 33.2 mm.; maximum diameter, 11 mm.
!! Hertlein & Strong, 1951 described this species as a subspecies of C. turricula.
