Description

Shell rufescent yellowish, within of the color of the yolk of eggs, smooth and thin, obtusely conical; with the last whorls inflated, flattened above, carinate to length of 3,5 transversely plicate (12), below subtuberculate; with the interstices of the carinae striate; columella straight, scarcely callous; with lip not at all sinuated by the carinae; with wide aperture externally sulcate by the carinae; canaliculate at the plications. (Translation.)
TYPE in Museum, St. Petersburg. Type locality, Bering Sea. RANGE. Commander, Aleutian, and Kodiak Islands.
